Curbside Connection Community Meals

At Fresh Start Church, we believe no one should face hunger alone. That’s why, in partnership with His Haven, we launched Curbside Connection Community Meals – a ministry dedicated to sharing both food and fellowship. Twice a month, our teams prepare hot, nutritious meals in our Pine City commercial kitchen, then bring them to His Haven where neighbors can either enjoy a sit-down meal or take it home.

But this outreach is about more than a plate of food. It’s about connection. Families, children, teens, and seniors experiencing food insecurity are not only fed – they’re welcomed, seen, and loved. Through every meal, conversations happen, friendships form, and seeds of faith are planted. God is using this program to meet physical needs while opening doors to His hope and healing.

We’ve already seen how powerful it is to serve together. Our rotating teams are building bridges into an underserved neighborhood, and the blessings go both ways – for those receiving and those serving. Yet, as we continue, we need the prayers, presence, and partnership of people like you. Whether you join a prep team, volunteer on serving day, or give financially, you’re helping us keep this vital outreach strong.

Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink … when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me.” (Matthew 25:35, 40)

Together, we are answering that call. Will you join us?

Be the hands and feet of Jesus!
